It is engineered for the matching Mason-Lite firebox size and stacks seamlessly with the pre-cast components for a clean, integrated look. The taller opening showcases the fire and increases radiant heat reflected into the room.

When you use a height kit, pair it with Mason-Lite 8 inch extended firebrick panels sized for the taller opening to complete the interior. Like all Mason-Lite pre-cast components, the kit is made from lightweight refractory concrete that installs quickly with high-temperature mortar. It is an easy way to customize the proportions of a standard firebox without the cost of a fully custom build. Because Mason-Lite designs its fireplaces and accessories as one integrated system, this part installs cleanly alongside the rest of your build without guesswork or field modification.

What's Included

(1) MFP75-2

(1) MFP75-2A

(2) MFP75-3

Sold Separately:

Firebox

Buckets of Mortar

Key Features

Used to increase opening height by 8"

Includes firebox sections to increase face height by 8"

Flue size may need to be increased

Note: Be sure to check flue sizing (diameter) based on the installation parameters (i.e.. chimney height and new face dimensions) to insure proper draw

Adds 8" to the firebox opening height

Classic Rumford-style proportions

Specifications

Brand

Mason-Lite

Item Number

MFP75-HK

Product Type

Height Kit

Crate Weight

279 lbs

Size

8"

Material

Pre-Cast Refractory Concrete

Warranty

Limited Lifetime Warranty

Made In

USA

Documents & Files

2024 Catalog
