It provides a strong, level platform that distributes the weight of the fireplace evenly and simplifies installation on framed floors. The raised design also brings the firebox opening up to a comfortable viewing height and leaves room for a finished hearth.

Using the matching Mason-Lite metal base saves time compared with building a site-poured masonry foundation and helps keep the project on schedule. It is sized precisely for the Mason-Lite 63" firebox for a secure fit. Heavy-gauge steel construction ensures long-lasting strength in indoor and covered outdoor installations. Because Mason-Lite designs its fireplaces and accessories as one integrated system, this part installs cleanly alongside the rest of your build without guesswork or field modification. Review the specifications and documents below, and always follow the manufacturer's installation instructions and local building codes.

What's Included

Metal Base

Sold Separately:

Firebox

Key Features

Used for Installation of Mason-lite Fireplaces to offer the air clearance necessary for installation on combustible floors

Available in two sizes 6" and 8"

Note: To ensure proper stability check Hearth and Rebar Locations

Heavy-duty structural steel

Provides air clearance for combustible floors

Suitable for second-story installations

Specifications

Brand

Mason-Lite

Item Number

MFPB63

Product Type

Metal Base

Crate Weight

219 lbs

Material

Steel

Warranty

Limited Lifetime Warranty

Made In

USA

Documents & Files

Accessories Brochure

Installation Manual

2024 Catalog
