It closes the opening where the chimney passes through a ceiling or floor, blocking the spread of fire and maintaining clearance to framing. B-vent is a gas-only, double-wall metal chimney with a smaller diameter than wood-burning chimneys, making it the ideal solution for fireplaces that require complicated or space-restricted venting runs. The double-wall construction keeps the outer surface cooler while efficiently carrying exhaust gases outdoors.

Each component locks to the next for a quick, secure connection that keeps exhaust contained from the appliance to the roof. Matching the vent diameter to the fireplace ensures proper draft, so be sure to select the same diameter for every part of the run. Follow the venting instructions and local codes for clearances, supports and terminations. Because it is designed to work with Mason-Lite fireplaces, it installs cleanly alongside the rest of your build without guesswork or field modification.

What's Included

Firestop/Support Plate

Key Features

The support plate is designed to provide strength and durability for supporting large size pipe sections

Serves as a firestop

Supports up to 30' of pipe

Double-wall gas vent construction

For gas appliances only

Available in 10" and 12" diameters

Specifications

Brand

Mason-Lite

Item Number

10BVFSP

Product Type

Firestop/Support Plate

Venting Type

B-Vent

Size (Diameter)

10"

MIN (A)

18"

MAX (B)

10 5/8"

Documents & Files

2024 Catalog

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0772/9646/8151/files/mason-lite-b-vent-10-firestop-support-plate-1.webp?v=1793252049
