The motorized damper closes when the appliance is off to keep conditioned air from escaping, then opens automatically just before the burner fires. It is matched to RSD350 chimney fans. It is engineered as part of a mechanical draft system that delivers steady, reliable venting for fireplaces and gas appliances where natural draft falls short. It is sized for 12" applications to ensure a precise, secure fit.

Using the correct manufacturer-matched accessory keeps the fan system performing quietly and efficiently while protecting the chimney and appliance. These components are ideal for masonry fireplaces, custom builds and homes with short or difficult chimney runs. Confirm the fan model, chimney diameter and voltage listed in the title and specifications before ordering. Adding mechanical draft components to a Mason-Lite fireplace is a proven way to eliminate smoke problems and enjoy a cleaner, more comfortable fire.

What's Included

Gas Flue Damper

Adaptor

Actuator

Key Features

GFD Mechanical Flue Dampers close when the appliance is not in use to prevent conditioned air from escaping through the chimney, and open right before the appliance burner fires up

Seals the flue when the appliance is off

Reduces heat loss and cold drafts

Operates automatically with the chimney fan system

Sized for the listed flue diameter

Improves home energy efficiency

Specifications

Brand

Mason-Lite

Item Number

GFD.312

Size

12"

Product Type

Gas Flue Damper

Documents & Files

Product Catalog

https://www.efireplacedirect.com/products/mason-lite-kw-12-gas-flue-damper-adaptor-and-actuator-for-rsd350-chimney-fan
