Key specifications include mfp535 of 50 lbs and mfp535-l of 55 lbs. It is the same exclusive mortar supplied with every Mason-Lite fireplace kit, so you can be confident it meets the strength and heat-resistance requirements of the system. Using the correct refractory mortar is essential for safety, and ordinary masonry mortar should never be substituted in a fireplace application.

The dry mix is supplied in a sealed bucket that stays easy to store and transport, then mixes with clean water on site for a smooth, workable consistency. Keep extra on hand for large projects, multiple fireboxes, firebrick panels, masonry chimney sections or repairs and touch-ups. It bonds pre-cast blocks tightly and cures to a strong, heat-resistant joint that stands up to years of fires. Choosing genuine Mason-Lite parts keeps your installation consistent with the manufacturer's tested system, protecting performance, appearance and long-term reliability.

What's Included

(1) Refractory Mortar

Key Features

High-temperature refractory formula

Same mortar supplied with Mason-Lite kits

For fireboxes, firebrick and masonry chimneys

Dry mix in a sealed bucket

Mixes on site with clean water

Specifications

Brand

Mason-Lite

Category

Mortar

Warranty

Limited Lifetime Warranty

Made In

USA

Model

Weight

MFP535

50 lbs.

MFP535-L

55 lbs.

Documents & Files

Accessories Brochure
